27-year-old WWE star saved from assault by Damage CTRL
Damage CTRL saved a rising WWE star from an assault. She was assaulted by a newly formed faction.
Lyra Valkyria is one of the most promising young stars in WWE. Soon after making her NXT debut, she defeated Becky Lynch to become the NXT Women's Champion. Her in-ring prowess got her called up to the main roster where she has been doing quite well for herself.
Since making it to the main roster, Valkyria hasn't been afraid of standing up to some of the biggest names in the women's division. Recently, she has found herself in a feud with Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler. Despite her best attempts, she hasn't been able to get the best of this newly formed faction. A couple of weeks ago, Lyra Valkyria lost to Sonya Deville, and last week, she teamed with Katana Chance and Kayden Carter in a losing effort to Baszler, Stark, and Deville.
Tonight on WWE RAW, Lyra Valkyria was set to face Shayna Baszler. The former NXT star was about to beat Baszler when Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville interfered in the match and attacked her, resulting in a disqualification. However, Damage CTRL soon came out to make the save, and the two factions brawled for a bit before Deville, Stark, and Baszler were sent in retreat.
Damage CTRL has been feuding with this new faction ever since they were ambushed a couple of weeks ago.
