28-year-old World Champion shares photos with Shawn Michaels after being attacked on recent WWE show
WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is leading NXT, providing a platform for talents both within and outside the promotion to showcase their abilities. One such talent is Jordynne Grace, the reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion. After competing on the white-and-gold brand last night, the 28-year-old female star shared photos with The Heartbreak Kid, seemingly expressing her gratitude for the opportunity.
Grace was ready to prove her worth on the Tuesday Night Show. She threw down an open challenge, inviting anyone to fight for her TNA Knockouts World Title. Sol Ruca took up the challenge. Their match was a thrilling display of skill and athleticism but just when things were getting intense, the lights suddenly went out.
After the lights were turned on, Grace and TNA star Rosemary were facing each other in the ring. Suddenly, NXT star Wendy Choo snuck up behind the Last Pure Athlete and held her in a chokehold until she fainted. The bout between Ruca and Grace ended in No Contest because the 28-year-old World Champion couldn't continue.
Following the events of the September 10, 2024, installment of WWE's developmental brand, Jordynne Grace took to her X (Twitter) account to share backstage pictures while having fun with Shawn Michaels.
"NXTNA 🫱🏼🫲🏻 NXTNA 🫱🏼🫲🏻 NXTNA," she wrote.

Ex-WWE champion shares how Shawn Michaels helped him through his career-ending injury
WWE star Wes Lee has excelled on the developmental brand under the guidance of The Heartbreak Kid. The 29-year-old is a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion and a one-time North American Champion.
Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Worldwide podcast, The Kardiak Kid discussed his recovery journey and how Shawn Michaels motivated him to never abandon his dreams.
"Prove yourself wrong because the biggest doubter that we ever can really have is ourselves. Especially hearing it from the man himself, Shawn, like the demons that he had to battle in order to overcome this injury and come back the way that he did and have an entire second career like that is something that is unheard of," Lee said.
It remains to be seen what the WWE Hall of Famer has planned for NXT ahead of the brand's move to The CW Network. Main roster stars like The Miz, CM Punk, and Randy Orton are scheduled to make appearances in the coming weeks.
