28-year-old WWE star appears on TNA and answers Jordynne Grace's open challenge
Jordynne Grace has quickly gotten over with the WWE Universe with only a few appearances in 2024. There is little doubt that she has benefited the most from the WWE-TNA Wrestling partnership. On TNA Impact this week, her open challenge was answered by a 28-year-old WWE star. That would be Karmen Petrovic.
Jordynne Grace took to social media to announce that she will defend her TNA Knockouts World Championship on NXT for the first time when USA Network has WWE week (airing RAW, NXT, and SmackDown in the same week). Her previous title match at NXT Battleground was for Roxanne Perez's NXT Women's Championship, so Grace did not put her gold on the line. However, touching eight months into her title reign, she has been dominant and issued an open challenge on TNA. NXT's Arianna Grace came out.
Arianna, the daughter of former WWE Superstar Santino Marella, introduced Karmen Petrovic to answer Jordynne Grace's open challenge. Grace would, of course, retain her TNA Knockouts World Championship.
Only three months ago, WWE star Tatum Paxley answered Grace's open challenge at TNA Against All Odds. She too, was unsuccessful. Paxley will go up against TNA's Rosemary soon. Incidentally, Rosemary is feuding with the TNA Knockouts World Champion and took her out after her title defense against Petrovic.
WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley is also interested in a match against Jordynne Grace
It is not surprising that Jordynne Grace has captured the interest of the women on the WWE main roster. She dipped her toes in at the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble Match and reportedly blew people away backstage. Shawn Michaels even admitted that he told Triple H that he was "owed one" after getting jealous of Grace's Rumble appearance.
While speaking to TV Insider, Rhea Ripley explained why she is interested in facing the TNA Knockouts World Champion:
"I mean, I would love to face Jordynne Grace. I think that would be a hell of a match. Strong girl versus strong girl. She probably has me on size a bit, but you know Mami is so strong. I would love it though. It would be an awesome match."
Impressively enough, Jordynne has reportedly earned six figures from her limited appearances in the white and gold brand including NXT Battleground 2024.
