29-year-old WWE star enters the ring from the crowd and gets physical at NXT Great American Bash
Things got heated on Week 1 of NXT Great American Bash as a female WWE star got in the ring and slapped a male superstar to hype him up. While ultimately unsuccessful, it worked in the moment.
Tavion Heights took on Tony D'Angelo for the Heritage Cup on NXT Great American Bash this week. The more experienced Tony got one up over Heights while the 29-year-old Wren Sinclair cheered and hyped him up from the crowd. Considering the time limit and crunch, it was always going to be a tense match.
After the first fall, Myles Born tried to get Tavion together, only for Wren to enter the ring and shove him aside. The 29-year-old took Tavion and slapped his face to wake him up, which directly led to him tying the score 1-1 against Tony D'Angelo.
Unfortunately, this was not enough. Only a few minutes later, Tony D'Angelo got the win to keep the NXT Heritage Cup in his grasp.
Wren Sinclair hasn't been NXT's most popular star by any means, but she seems to have done well enough to earn praise for her role in the match. Big things could be coming for the young star.
