3-time champion will become WWE's top superstar by this time next year, predicts Eric Bischoff
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are considered WWE's current top superstars. However, a Hall of Famer believes another rising star could become the company's number-one guy by next year.
The superstar in question is Bron Breakker. The second-generation superstar joined the main roster earlier this year after holding the NXT Championship twice and the NXT Tag Team Championship once. The 26-year-old is now considered one of the fastest-rising stars on Monday Night RAW. On his 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff predicted the future of Rick Steiner's son.
The former RAW General Manager predicted that Breakker would become the top guy or one of the top three in the Stamford-based company within a year:
"It's going right out there. I'm predicting it again. By this time next year, Bron Breakker is not gonna be, if he's not the guy, he'll be in the top three guys," he said. [From 03:58 to 04:08]

Eric Bischoff thinks Bron Breakker should beat John Cena before the WWE legend retires
John Cena announced his intention to retire from in-ring competition next year at Money in the Bank. He disclosed that he would compete in a few more matches before hanging up his boots.
On the 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff suggested that Cena should put Bron Breakker over in his retirement match after The Cenation Leader squares off against superstars from his past:
"I would start out with people from John's past. That's where I'd start for the nostalgia, right? And to let the story and the momentum and the whole idea of John Cena's retirement continue to build. (...) And then you start working into [sic] the younger, hungrier, up-and-coming talent. And let John have them all. Build that momentum. Build that momentum. And then, whoever the next big deal is going to be, Bron Breakker. (...) I'd let Bron beat him. Have John put him over one, two, three. And knowing John, it's probably what he'll want to do, whether it's Bron or somebody else. He's not gonna want to go out with a win," Bischoff said.
Bron Breakker recently challenged Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank. However, he failed to capture the title. Nevertheless, he attacked the Canadian superstar last Monday on RAW. It would be interesting to see if the second-generation superstar can capture his first title this year.
