3-time WWE champion makes massive claims about Randy Orton's contributions behind the scenes
Randy Orton has spent over two decades with WWE and The Viper has no intentions of leaving the Stamford-based promotion for the foreseeable future. With his decades of experience, Orton is seen as a locker room and recently Maven Huffman, fka Maven, spoke about The Apex Predator's contributions to his career behind the scenes.
Orton had a meteoric rise in the Stamford-based promotion under Vince McMahon's regime, as the third-generation star had all the tools to become the company's face for years to come. In his early days, he befriended Maven, who had three runs with the Hardcore Championship.
In a recent video on Maven Huffman's YouTube channel, the former Hardcore Champion made massive claims about how The Viper and his status with the company helped his run in the promotion. He detailed how Orton pursued the management to use Maven on television.
"In fact, he [Randy Orton] always went out of his way to even try to help me. He would go to the writing team, he would always encourage them to use me in different ways and different roles. I always thought that me being inserted into the Survivor Series angle in 2004, was probably directly correlated with him encouraging them to use me because if you look at the participants from the match, one guy stands out that doesn't fit and it's me," Huffman said.
