32-year-old WWE star confirms TNA appearance after receiving cross-company help
The collaboration between WWE and TNA has spanned several weeks now and delivered multiple great moments to fans of the promotions. Now, a 32-year-old star from NXT has announced her appearance on TNA next week.
Wendy Choo recently challenged Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s North American Championship in a losing effort. However, she managed to torment the champ with her partner from TNA, Rosemary. After receiving help from The Demon Assassin, she is ready to crossover into the realm of IMPACT.
Wendy Choo tweeted on X that she will be on TNA next week. Interestingly, her tweet came in response to the announcement of the debut of a new wrestler on the show named Lei Ying Lee.
“I’ll be there too… 👀,” Choo wrote.
Notably, Lee is a former WWE star who wrestled as Xia Li. She was released from the company after a seven-year run before this year’s Draft. Interestingly, while Choo seems to have marked her, she will also be taking on a TNA champion next week.
WWE’s Wendy Choo will face Jordynne Grace next week
Jordynne Grace had a great run during her NXT appearances, giving dominating performances. Wendy Choo and Rosemary attacked the TNA Knockouts World Champion, and now she will settle the score with them on IMPACT.
Interestingly, she will be teaming up with a mystery tag team partner to take the eerie duo on. Moreover, her partner will be one of WWE star Arianna Grace’s best friends on NXT.
So far, The Juggernaut has dominated everyone she has faced in the ring since becoming the Knockouts Champion except Roxanne Perez. However, it remains to be seen how well she will perform with an impromptu teammate against the duo of Rosemary and Choo.
So far, no hints have been dropped that either Lei Ying Lee or Tatum Paxley could team up with Grace. It would be interesting to see if Choo and Rosemary can secure a big win at IMPACT and expand their reign of terror.
