33-year-old ex-WWE champion must win the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match, says Matthew Rehwoldt

Three WWE Superstars have already qualified for the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Wrestling veteran Matthew Rehwoldt (fka Aiden English) now thinks one of these ladies should walk out the winner.

The superstar in question is none other than Chelsea Green. The 33-year-old qualified for the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match after defeating Bianca Belair and Michin in a Triple Threat qualifying match on SmackDown. The former Women's Tag Team Champion now has an opportunity to capture her first singles title in WWE. However, she would have to overcome IYO SKY, Lyra Valkyria, and three other superstars to be determined.

On the Rebooked podcast, Rehwoldt expressed his desire to see Green capture the briefcase on July 6th:

"[Chelsea Green should win.] Absolutely should," he said. [From 38:47 to 38:49]

Another ex-WWE star wants Chelsea Green to win Money in the Bank

After Chelsea Green qualified for the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, her husband, former Intercontinental Champion Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder), took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts about Green's victory.

The 39-year-old claimed that his wife winning the briefcase and earning a guaranteed title shot would be best for business:

"It's best for business…" he wrote.

Green has recently addressed the possibility of Cardona returning to WWE after nearly four years of absence. While she revealed that she would like her husband to make his comeback, the former Women's Tag Team Champion disclosed that they should not work together on screen. Instead, she stated that he should return alongside his current partner on the independent circuit, former NXT star Steph De Lander (fka Persia Pirotta). It would be interesting to see if that would happen.
