33-year-old superstar intends to bring back derogative name of WWE title after qualifying for Money in the Bank

We are just a couple of weeks away from this year's WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. The PLE boasts of the namesake ladder matches that guarantee the winners an opportunity to cash in on any championship within the next year. Chelsea Green earned her spot in the Women's MITB Ladder match and promised to make a name change to the Women's Title if she wins it in the future.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Chelsea Green beat Bianca Belair and Michin to qualify for the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. So far, only she and IYO SKY have been able to qualify for the bout while four other women are yet to be added to the mix.

The 33-year-old superstar seems confident about her chances of winning the coveted briefcase and recently let the WWE Universe know that she will be cashing in her title shot against Bayley. Later on, she also let the fans know that she would rename the WWE Women's Title to the Divas Title, a name that was disbanded by the company because of the negative sentiment among women wrestlers if she beats The Role Model.

"When I win I’m starting a petition to change the @WWE Womens Championship back to the Divas Championship."

WWE retired the Divas Championship in 2016 and introduced WWE Women's Championship entering a new era in women's wrestling. Before that, the company used to call its female talents Divas and many hated the term.

Over the years, fans and wrestlers voiced their opinions on the retired title, with a majority saying this move would reset all the hard work done by the company during the Women's Revolution.

Who will be competing in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match?

WWE has had three Triple Threat Matches so far to determine which male WWE Superstars will challenge for the chance to win the Money in the Bank briefcase. As of this writing, Jey Uso, Andrade, and Carmelo Hayes have been able to qualify for the bout. In the coming weeks, the company will add three male superstars to the exciting match.

The premium live event will also see the former MITB briefcase winner, Damian Priest defend the World Heavyweight Title against Seth Rollins. The Judgment Day member won the championship at WrestleMania after he cashed in on Drew McIntyre, whose reign lasted less than six minutes.

The 2024 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event is set to take place on July 6, in Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
