33-year-old WWE Superstar sends an emotional message after special gesture from fans
The WWE Universe has always displayed how passionate it can be for its favorite superstars. Recently, several fans of the Stamford-based promotion rallied in support of a 33-year-old superstar to push her back to winning ways. Interestingly, their cheers helped the wrestler secure a win despite being injured, who has now sent an emotional message to her fans.
Zelina Vega faced off against Zoey Stark on the July 22, 2024, episode of Monday Night RAW. Vega entered the match with a brace on her right arm which was injured the previous week by Stark and her teammates, Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler. Interestingly, the ZV Army is still giving Vega a push even after her revenge win. This prompted the LWO member to thank her fans via a tweet on X.
“The sweetest, most heart warming messages under those hashtags.. Thank you guys for the kind words. Can’t say I ever expected any of this. I promise, I won’t let any of you down. 🥲,” wrote Zelina Vega.
Along with her fans, Vega also received help from Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance, who prevented Vega from getting ganged up on again. Interestingly, while the LWO member has made a promise to her fans today, she is also working on fulfilling another promise made to her dad.
Zelina Vega promises to win the women’s championship
Zelina Vega has had a good run on WWE but is yet to come close to the main event scene and win the women’s championship. Following the July 15, 2024, episode of Monday Night RAW, ZV added a post on Instagram, sending her late father a message and promising him to win the prestigious title soon.
“The championship is the next thing I bring you, Dad,” wrote Vega.
Notably, Vega had come close to winning the Women’s World Championship by defeating Liv Morgan but lost the match due to interference from Dominik Mysterio. But now, she is back to her winning ways and ready to take on tougher challenges. It would be interesting to see how the LWO member inserts herself higher into the card with so many fans demanding a push for her.
