34-year-old former WWE champion doubtful about future despite recent appearance; hasn't wrestled since 2022

A 34-year-old former WWE champion recently discussed her future in the pro wrestling world. The star has not competed inside the squared circle since 2022. The name in question is Mandy Rose, also known as Mandy Sacs.

Rose signed a contract with WWE in 2015 after participating in the company's reality competition, Tough Enough. The 34-year-old then started performing on the Stamford-based promotion's developmental brand and was shifted to the main roster in 2017. She wrestled for a few more years before being released from her contract in 2022.

Since then the former NXT Women's Champion has not wrestled any matches. However, she recently returned to the ring only for a run-in during a match at a Black Label Pro event.

During a recent edition of the Power Alphas with Mandy and Sabby podcast, Mandy Rose talked about her future in professional wrestling. The former Toxic Attraction leader revealed that her knee had been bothering her since she had a little accident while skiing.

Rose also shared that her knee gave up during the run-in at the Black Label Pro event, before revealing that she was uncertain about her future in wrestling.

"Whether or not I am going to be getting back [in the ring], I still don’t have an answer right now. Did I get the itch? I do have the itch a little bit. I have a lot of things going on right now. For me, right now, the biggest thing is [that] it has to make sense for me. And not just financial sense. It has to make sense in the aspect of, 'Is this really what I want to do? Do I really want to put my body through it all physically?' The traveling," she said. [11:56 - 12:33]

The former WWE star also mentioned that she was enjoying her life with her family and had to think about her personal life before making any decisions about competing inside the squared circle.
