34-year-old star reacts after his sudden first-ever chance to win a singles championship on SmackDown
On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, LA Knight issued an open challenge for the United States Championship. Ludwig Kaiser made a surprise appearance during the show and answered the challenge.
The Megastar successfully defended the title against Santos Escobar last week on the blue brand. He opened the show this week and cut a promo in the ring before his match. When he called out for anyone to answer the challenge, Ludwig Kaiser's music hit and the latter got a big reaction from the crowd. SmackDown emanated from Berlin, Germany this week, which is Kaiser's birth country.
The Imperium member said he was going to win the United States Championship and turn it into the European Championship. However, when the bell rang to end the match, LA Knight was the one whose arm was raised. Even though Ludwig Kaiser lost the match, he took to Instagram to show his appreciation to the fans for how they reacted to him on SmackDown.
