34-year-old WWE star loses another championship match on RAW; fails to win first singles title
Bron Breakker defended his Intercontinental Championship against Ludwig Kaiser on the latest episode of WWE RAW. The latter was unable to capture his first singles title in the company.
This wasn't his first time competing for the IC Title this year. The Imperium member took on Breakker and Sheamus in a Triple Threat match at Survivor Series, but the coveted title did not change hands. Ludwig Kaiser also challenged LA Knight for the WWE United States Championship in his home country of Germany during an episode of SmackDown in August, but he was defeated.
Kaiser had another shot at becoming champion when he collided with Bron Breakker on WWE RAW tonight. Bron took down his opponent with a back body drop, but Kaiser slapped him in the face again. Bron Breakker took down the challenger and pounded him on the mat.
Bron hit a clothesline and a spinebuster. He then dived off the apron onto Ludwig Kaiser and sent him over the announce table. Ludwig targeted Breakker's injured shoulder throughout the rest of the match. He hit Bron with a dropkick but ate a jumping knee.
The IC Champion took down Ludwig Kaiser with a Frankensteiner off the top rope and nailed him with a Death Valley Driver. Bron Breakker then performed an inverted Lumbar Check and hit a spear to win the match.
