34-year-old WWE star makes a wild accusation against Oba Femi; warning sent to Trick Williams following NXT Deadline

Oba Femi won the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline and is now the number one contender for the NXT Championship. During WWE NXT this week, Eddy Thorpe made an accusation against him, and the latter made a promise to Trick Williams.

During his in-ring promo, The Ruler stated that in four weeks, at New Year's Evil, he will reclaim his rightful position on the throne when he wins the coveted title. He then said that he and Trick Williams hadn't officially crossed paths yet, but they've been dominant in their individual divisions.

Oba Femi expressed that it was time to find out who the real top guy was. Trick then came out, but before he could say anything, Eddy Thorpe made his presence known. The 34-year-old star said he wasn't going to ignore what Oba did to him. He accused The Ruler of attacking him backstage last week and taking his place in the Iron Survivor Challenge.

Femi denied the accusations and asked Eddy Thorpe whether he saw him do it. Thorpe said he was attacked from behind, and that Femi was the only one strong enough to have done that. Oba Femi turned his attention back to Trick Williams and told him that the only reason Trick was the number one guy in NXT was because he let him be the number one guy.

Femi then said that they have a date with destiny at New Year's Evil. He also promised that at the beginning of 2025, it'll be the end of Trick Williams' era.
