34-year-old WWE star wants to "slap" John Cena
A rising WWE star has sent a message to John Cena. He has fired some shots at the wrestling legend.
Grayson Waller is one of the top heels in WWE at the moment. He has a reputation for saying the wrong thing, which always gets him and his tag team partner, Austin Theory, in hot water.
Grayson Waller has made controversial remarks in the past, and they have sort of become part of his gimmick. He knows how to provoke people with his comments, so it should come as no surprise that he made some comments about John Cena.
In a video posted to UpUpDownDown's Instagram page, Waller said he wants to "slap" Cena. This was said to try to get a match with the WWE legend.
"I want to slap John in the face like I've been wanting it for so long. I'm going to get it, John. I'm going to keep saying mean things until you say yes... He said 40 shows like come on, give me Poughkeepsie or something. You don't have to give one of the big towns... I'm fine with that," the 34-year-old said.

Major update on John Cena's retirement tour
This challenge from Grayson Waller could be due to a sense of urgency. Earlier this year, Cena showed up at Money in the Bank and announced he was retiring from the WWE after a farewell tour in 2025. Since this announcement, Cena's retirement tour has been a topic of hot discussion.
According to Wrestlevotes on a live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, Cena's retirement tour will kick off on the January 6 episode of RAW when the show moves to Netflix.
"I do believe the official retirement tour is going to start on January 6, that's a part of Netflix. Potential opponents? We've spoken in the past about Randy Orton, CM Punk, I can see him mixing it up with Logan Paul one point over the next 12 months, so I think there's a wide-open book for John Cena here in 2025," reported WrestleVotes.
It will be interesting to see who John Cena will face during his final year in the WWE.
