35-year-old star saves Bayley from one-sided attack by Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton

WWE SmackDown opened with Tiffany Stratton - the new Ms. Money in the Bank, while Bayley would confront her and Nia Jax would come out. The ambush was prevented thanks to a 35-year-old star who saved the champion. This was Michin.

Tiffany Stratton is only a few years into the wrestling business but has skyrocketed in popularity among the fans. She is now the most dangerous woman in WWE, being the eighth Women's Money in the Bank holder in history. She is now going to be a thorn in the side of the WWE Women's Champion - who is set to take on Nia Jax at SummerSlam.

The segment saw a back-and-forth between Bayley, who mocked Stratton for only being in the business for a few years. Nia Jax would also come out to make her presence known, leading to a 2-on-1 attack. It was the 35-year-old Michin who came out to help her.

Michin has recently been crossing paths with Nia Jax, who has become a big rival of hers. The two would face off immediately following this segment on the blue brand and unfortunately for Michin, she lost the bout.

It's a big bit of momentum for Jax ahead of her SummerSlam title clash.

The Stratton-Jax alliance seems to be working wonders, though a brief hint of opportunism by the MITB contract holder was on display towards the end of the segment.
