35-year-old superstar stands up to the WWE Universe to share an important message
WWE fans continue to support the Stamford-based company's shows every week. This is achieved by the positive as well as the negative reactions superstars make the audience generate due to their promos. However, many times, fans go overboard with their negative comments online. Standing up to such conduct, a 35-year-old star recently gave fans a reality check.
Mia Yim is a fan-favorite superstar. The O.C. member had a smooth transition to WWE SmackDown and still receives big pops from the NXT crowd whenever she appears on the white and gold brand. Taking to X/Twitter, Yim recently shared a tweet to address some distasteful fan comments made online.
"PSA: wrestlers break their bodies for your entertainment (and the love of the game). Injuries also mess with our mental. Dont make fun of someone’s injury/wish for an injury. Be better.”
Check out her tweet below:
Her appeal was met with support from many fans who also disapproved of such comments made by people online.
Mia Yim suffers a big loss on WWE NXT
Mia Yim recently faced off against NXT star Jaida Parker. The two had previously exchanged blows at NXT Battleground for the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Championship match where both of them lost. However, their July 2, 2024, match saw them going all out and punishing each other in a Street Fight.
The match saw Mia attack Parker with a trash can and open the match strongly. However, the OTM member eventually gained momentum and thrashed the 35-year-old star with a kendo stick and belt whips. Eventually, The O.C. member lost despite a grueling effort.
With these repeated losses, Mia may soon get completely written off WWE NXT and become a permanent competitor on SmackDown. It would be interesting to see her come back to winning ways on the blue brand.
