36-year-old makes request to WWE fans after surprise debut
A WWE Superstar made an interesting request to fans following their debut with the promotion. The 36-year-old made a surprise appearance on WWE television earlier this week.
The star in question is Joe Hendry, and he competed in the Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Championship last night. However, everyone ganged up on the TNA star right away, and Frankie Kazarian sent him over the top rope for the elimination.
Hendry has become very popular due to the success of his entrance theme being released as a single, and he got a big reaction from the NXT crowd during his debut. He took to X today to ask fans to make his debut the most-liked video for the company since WrestleMania, as it currently ranks in second place.
"This is @WWE‘s second most liked video since Wrestlemania. Make It The Best and most liked video," he wrote.
WWE Superstar reveals that he believes in Joe Hendry
Drew McIntyre has disclosed that he is a believer in Joe Hendry and is proud of his success as of late.
Speaking with Cultaholic in a recent interview, The Scottish Warrior praised Hendry and noted that he had deserved a big opportunity for a long time. McIntyre noted that the veteran's song has become a hit and added that the sky is the limit for Hendry moving forward.
"I do believe in Joe Hendry. I do, he's doing awesome. Very proud of him, especially getting his song so high up in the charts and causing as much buzz as he's caused. He's deserved a big opportunity for a long time and thankfully, he's been able to showcase himself on IMPACT. I'm sure he's just going to keep going up and going up. The sky is the limit, he can do it all," said McIntyre. [From 00:06 - 00:27]
