36-year-old star comments on "insane" viral WWE moment: "I think I can top it"
WWE is no short of talent, but a 36-year-old star recently proved that popularity can be built anywhere. NXT had a few surprises in store for fans earlier this week, and Joe Hendry appeared to give fans an “insane” moment.
The Scottish star has been extremely popular, courtesy of his catchy entrance theme. NXT fans hoped for him to arrive following WWE's recent collaboration with TNA Wrestling, and Joe Hendry did not disappoint fans.
His appearance, which saw him get eliminated from the 25-man Battle Royal almost immediately on the white and gold brand, has gone viral on the internet. It is now the Stamford-based promotion’s most-liked video on X/Twitter since WrestleMania XL.
While talking about his popularity, Hendry said on the Busted Open Radio podcast that the WWE’s collaboration with TNA Wrestling was great for everyone. He added that it was unreal for him to get so many likes on X/Twitter but stated that he could top that moment soon.
"Everybody is winning. The fans are winning. For me to have WWE's most liked video on Twitter since WrestleMania is insane, but I think I can top it. I’m excited for what’s next," Joe Hendry said. [19:44 - 19:59]

Joe Hendry teased more appearances in WWE
It looks like fans will be seeing a lot more of Joe Hendry in the coming weeks after his early elimination from the 25-man Battle Royal led him to vent his frustration backstage on NXT.
After a confrontation with Shawn Michaels, Joe Hendry sent out a warning to the entire WWE roster. This could mean that more opportunities are waiting for the 36-year-old in the Stamford-based promotion.
The Stamford-based company did give Jordynne Grace a couple of good matches on NXT in recent weeks. Hendry could also rub shoulders with some big names in the company to get even more over with fans.
