37-year-old heel WWE star could become the biggest babyface the company has ever seen, says Tommy Dreamer
Cody Rhodes is arguably the biggest babyface in WWE today. However, wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer suggested another top superstar could become the biggest babyface in the company's history.
The American Nightmare will square off against reigning World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Last night on WWE RAW, the two world champions had a heated confrontation. While addressing the segment on the Busted Open After Dark podcast, Dreamer claimed The Ring General could turn from heel to babyface in a heartbeat.
The ECW legend stated that the 37-year-old RAW Superstar could become the biggest babyface the company has ever seen because he was "such a good in-ring worker!"
"In a heartbeat, Gunther could become the biggest babyface this company's ever seen. Why? Because he's such a good in-ring worker," Tommy Dreamer said. [6:40-6:46]

Can Gunther defeat Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel?
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, RAW Talk host Sam Roberts discussed the upcoming clash between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the men's Crown Jewel Title in Saudi Arabia. The titular PLE will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 2.
Following Kevin Owens' betrayal of The American Nightmare at Bad Blood, Roberts predicted that The Prizefighter would interfere to cost Rhodes the match against Gunther.
"So, for sure, Gunther's winning that big giant title. Kevin Owens is going to interfere, and then, yeah, that leads us to KO vs. Cody at Survivor Series," he said.
While Gunther is currently one of the top heels in the Stamford-based company, it will be interesting to see if the Imperium leader undergoes a character change in the future.
