37-year-old WWE name returns to RAW after real-life tragedy; missed the last two weeks
After being absent from RAW for two weeks, a popular WWE name has now returned to the competition. The star was welcomed back immediately.
Pat McAfee's absence was noted on RAW, and Corey Graves filled in for him after the star went through a family tragedy. It was thought that his absence had something to do with The Wyatt Sicks after the screen went dark on his show. However, the actual reason was that his father-in-law passed away.
Pat McAfee is back in WWE now. Michael Cole commented on the fact that he was being rejoined by the star after two weeks' worth of absence. McAfee was gone from the show for two weeks because his father-in-law passed away suddenly without any warning after a regular procedure in the hospital. He had admitted that it was devastating to suffer such a loss in that sudden manner.
The star is back now as a regular commentator. Cole spoke about the return, too, saying he hoped McAfee's family was doing well, and he welcomed him back. McAfee acknowledged it and said that they were doing better now.
The star will be back on commentary on RAW going forward on the show from now on.
