37-year-old WWE star will no way become champion at Night of Champions, according to Disco Inferno
Wrestling veteran Disco Inferno believes Mustafa Ali will not dethrone Gunther at WWE Night of Champions.
Ali has been an active competitor in the Stamford-based company since 2016. However, the 37-year-old is yet to win any championships. Last week, Ali won a Number-one Contender's Battle Royal to earn a shot at Gunther's Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions on May 27 in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking on Keepin' It 100, wrestling veteran Konnan addressed Ali's current status in WWE, stating that he does not come off as a star.
"He's not a bad wrestler. He's just, to me, right now he doesn't come off as a star," he said. [7:48 to 7:52]
Konnan's co-host, Disco Inferno, also claimed that Ali is not a credible challenger for Gunther.
"He's not a credible challenger. He's like, there's no way you think this guy's is gonna win, you know," Inferno added. [7:53 to 7:57]

Former WWE star recently praised Gunther
Since his main roster debut last year, Gunther has been praised by many fans and wrestlers.
During an episode of Cafe de Rene, Rene Dupree disclosed that he was a fan of The Ring General. The former Tag Team Champion stated that Gunther brings prestige to the Intercontinental Championship.
"This guy is money. He is money. [He lost a ton of weight too, huh?] Yeah, he got himself in great shape. Like this, having him the Intercontinental Champion brings prestige to that f**king title. You understand, because he looks like a f**king champion. You can see how he comes out with a nice robe and he looks like a f**king star! They're giving him a f**king run just like the old days, a year, 18 months, and when he loses it, it means something," he said.
Gunther is in "no rush" to wrestle Roman Reigns in a first-time-ever match. Check out the details here.
