38-year-old ex-WWE star gets married [PHOTO]

A former WWE Superstar has shared a personal update on her social media handle. Alicia Fox married her partner, Michael Fitzgerald, in a small ceremony and shared the pictures on her official Instagram account.

Alicia Fox used to be heavily featured in the women's division back when she was a mainstay in World Wrestling Entertainment. She did quite well for herself during her lengthy run and even won the Divas Championship as well as the 24/7 Championship.

Fox recently shared a post on Instagram, revealing that she has tied the knot with her partner, Michael Fitzgerald. The lovebirds had gotten engaged back in late 2022.

Alicia Fox talks about winning the WWE Divas Championship

Back in 2010, Alicia Fox won the Divas Championship, thus becoming the first black woman to win the belt. She won the championship in a Fatal Four-Way Match against Eve Torres, Maryse, and Gail Kim at the namesake premium live event that year.

Last year, the 38-year-old had a chat with DS Shin of Ring The Belle and opened up about her historic title win. Here's what she said:

"I don’t think, in my mind, I had any concept of what this was to the audience or to the locker room. I was so scared, I was so nervous. At that point, I was so nervous that I was going to mess it up all the time. I think that’s the one thing, too, about wrestling is you’re always chasing the high because the card is subject to change. I’m trying to remember [when I found out], I feel like maybe a week before or maybe the day before." [H/T WrestleZone]

Fox has not been very active as a professional wrestler since parting ways with WWE last year. Her last in-ring outing was in August 2024, when she lost to fellow pro-wrestler Hyan.
