38-year-old Superstar is secretly working with The Judgment Day after being spotted with Rhea Ripley, according to WWE fans
WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre has been teasing a heel turn for a long time, but several fans believe he may have made his first move already.
The Scottish Warrior has been frustrated on RAW ever since Jey Uso arrived on the red brand. The locker room's acceptance of the former Bloodline member has further caused distress to McIntyre, who seems to be the only one who remembers being brutally victimized by the Roman Reigns-led faction.
He was spotted in the middle of a conversation with Rhea Ripley in the background of a backstage segment on RAW. Earlier this week, he locked horns with Sami Zayn in a singles match that was widely regarded as the best bout of the night, rightfully earning the "This is Awesome" chants from fans in the live audience.
In the closing moments of the match, Rhea Ripley made a surprise appearance at ringside. She also prevented Sami Zayn from hitting the Helluva Kick, stealing the win away from the top babyface. Drew McIntyre capitalized on the opening and walked out with a win.
Although Drew McIntyre did not acknowledge Rhea Ripley or her interference in the match while waking back, the Women's World Championship was seen beaming with pride. WWE recently put up a poll on their official Instagram account asking fans if the 38-year-old was working with The Judgment Day.
66% of fans voted 'yes' in response and were convinced that The Scottish Warrior had struck a deal with The Judgment Day leader. Many have noted that the creative team was doing right by not rushing McIntyre's heel turn, and a secret alliance with the most dominant faction on RAW could prove to be a turning point in his story.
Rhea Ripley tried to recruit Seth Rollins in The Judgment Day on WWE RAW
Drew McIntyre potentially working with The Judgment Day would be an interesting development ahead of his title match against Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel 2023. However, it is worth noting that Rhea Ripley also tried to join forces with The Architect, offering the World Heavyweight Champion a spot in The Judgment Day.
She argued that the group could help protect Rollins' title reign in WWE, much like The Bloodline, who have played a key role in Roman Reigns' historic championship reign. However, Rollins declined the offer, claiming he didn't want to be anything like The Tribal Chief.
