39-year-old major WWE star won't be on Roman Reigns' potential team at Survivor Series, says Sam Roberts

Roman Reigns is expected to form a team to fight Solo Sikoa's Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series: WarGsmrd next month. However, WWE analyst, Sam Roberts predicted that a 39-year-old top superstar would not be on that team.

Earlier this month, The Original Tribal Chief teamed up with Cody Rhodes to defeat The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match at Bad Blood. The premium live event also witnessed the return of Jimmy Uso to reunite with Reigns.

Ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames, several experts, including Roberts, discussed the possibility of the former Undisputed WWE Champion forming a team of top babyfaces that would include Rhodes to fight Sikoa's faction in a WarGames Match. However, the 41-year-old analyst believes that would not be the case.

On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts addressed the interaction between Rhodes and Jimmy Uso backstage last Friday on SmackDown. As The American Nightmare thanked the former Tag Team Champion for his help at Bad Blood, the latter clarified that it was a favor and a one-time thing. The RAW Talk host then explained that the interaction indicated that Rhodes would not join forces with Jimmy and Reigns.

"Jimmy Uso is the one who says, 'No problem, but that was a favor and that was a one-time thing. He's letting him know he's aligned with The Tribal Chief here. There is no sort of partnership building between The Bloodline and Cody Rhodes, which I think even goes harder to the point that once we get towards WarGames, I don't think we're looking at a team that Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are on together. I think we're looking at Roman Reigns rebuilding a Bloodline team for WarGames," he said. [11:53 - 12:26]

Who will be on Roman Reigns' potential team at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames?

On the Busted Open podcast, former WWE host, Matt Camp, also discussed the future of The Bloodline storyline heading into Survivor Series: WarGames. He predicted that Jey Uso would be on Roman Reigns' team alongside his twin brother, Jimmy.

Meanwhile, Camp also claimed that Sami Zayn would become the fourth member of the team, reuniting with the original Bloodline under Reigns' leadership.

"Who's Jey's friend on RAW still? Who's always been his friend? Who's been his friend going back to WarGames? Sami Zayn. And what did Sami Zayn do on Monday? He wrapped up his story with Gunther. [...] It kinda has to be Sami though. If it's gonna be Jey, it's gotta be Sami," he said.

While Jey Uso might need some convincing to rejoin Reigns and Jimmy, Camp suggested Paul Heyman could return to accomplish that mission. It would be interesting to see if that would happen.
