39-year-old star teases being Nia Jax's new sidekick on SmackDown; Wants to replace Tiffany Stratton?

Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton have had an interesting relationship, to say the least, of late. On SmackDown this week, even as Nia continued to air her grievances, a 39-year-old star teased being her new sidekick and replacing Stratton. This was Candice LeRae.

The source of tensions between Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton is, of course, the fact that Nia is the WWE Women's Champion while Stratton is Ms. Money in the Bank. Jax has repeatedly warned her against cashing in her briefcase on her.

After losing her match on SmackDown, Candice found herself crossing paths with Tiffany Stratton, with Nia Jax coming in all angry about the fact that Tiffany had booked the both of them against the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Candice LeRae told Nia that if she was by her side, she wouldn't be facing such issues - teasing herself as a replacement for Stratton.

Even during the match between Jax, Stratton, and the tag team champions, LeRae would interfere and shove Belair off the top turnbuckle to try and get in the good graces of the WWE Women's Champion.

LeRae's heel tendencies showed during her match against Bayley when she faked an injury but it backfired as Bayley anticipated her move and got the pinfall over her.

LeRae's interference failed to be of any use in the tag team match as well, with Stratton getting distracted by her and ordering her to leave. This led to a chaotic minute where Naomi came out and took out LeRae while Bianca Belair got the pin on Stratton.
