39-year-old WWE star puts Bron Breakker on notice after RAW

WWE Superstar Bron Breakker saw a top star crowned as his next challenger on Monday Night RAW. The latest edition of the show saw a 39-year-old star earn a shot at a top singles title.

Jey Uso competed in a Fatal Four-Way Match to determine the next challenger to Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Championship. The match also included Pete Dunne, Ilja Dragunov, and Braun Strowman.

After a good fight, Jey Uso was able to capitalize on a Torpedo Moscow from Ilja to Dunne. He superkicked Dragunov out of the way and hit a big splash on The Bruseirweight to earn the win.

After the match, Bron Breakker appeared to stare down his future challenger who was celebrating in the ring. In a RAW Exclusive backstage interview, Jey Uso celebrated his big win with some big words.

"You saw me out there shining, took care of three things tonight. One, beat Pete Dunne. Yeet. Number two, I had to beat Ilja Dragunov. [Mimes YEET-ing]. Number three, had to beat Braun Strowman. [Mimics YEET-ing]," Uso said.

Uso was asked about how he felt after taking down the biggest superstars on RAW to earn the opportunity. He made it clear that it didn’t matter which ‘Bron’ he was facing for the title and planned to win his first singles championship in WWE.

"I’m so ready. I’m so ready, Uce. I’m ready to do it for the WWE Universe, for myself, for my family, really prove myself, Uce. Almost been a whole year since I was on Raw, since I left The Bloodline and started my journey, Uce. We gonna get there. Braun Strowman, me and you gonna dance, Uce. I don’t know if you can dance, Bron Strowman, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, whole lotta Brons going on, but look, there’s only one Main Event Jey Uso, and you’re looking at him. The new Intercontinental Champion, Main Event Jey Uso. Can I get a YEET?" the 39-year-old WWE star said. (H/T Fightful)

Jey Uso has won numerous tag team championships during his WWE career. However, a singles title has eluded both the Uso brothers who are currently working separately.

Jey Uso is getting into Rhea Ripley's good books on WWE RAW ahead of his match against Bron Breakker

Things seem to be heating up between Jey Uso and Rhea Ripley on WWE RAW after the two started teasing a relationship on social media and during interviews. The latest edition of RAW saw Judgment Day beat down Ripley and Damian Priest mercilessly.

Liv Morgan used Rhea Ripley’s crutches to do even more damage to Mami’s knee before Jey Uso came out late to make the save. It’s unclear why Jey made the save so late, but it allowed Judgment Day to gain an unfair advantage over The Terror Twins.
