39-year-old WWE star tries to save Damian Priest from brutal assault; gets taken out by current champion
During the latest episode of RAW, Damian Priest was on the receiving end of a brutal assault when a popular 39-year-old WWE Superstar tried to save him. That would be Jey Uso. However, The Yeet Master was ambushed by a current champion.
Ever since Bron Breakker arrived on the main roster, he has carved out a destructive path for himself. He quickly challenged for and won the Intercontinental Championship.
To present his next challenger, WWE held a number-one contender's tournament where the winner would face Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship. Jey Uso won the tournament and earned a title shot against Bron despite the latter's repeated warnings.
Tonight on RAW, both Breakker and Jey Uso came face-to-face in the ring in a segment that only seemed to anger the champion. Later on in the night, Damian Priest competed against and defeated Dominik Mysterio. However, following the match, The Judgment Day ganged up on The Archer of Infamy and started attacking him in the ring.
Just then, Jey Uso's music hit and he came down to the ring but he was not able to enter due to the numbers advantage. Breakker took this opportunity and hit The Yeet Master with a Spear. This allowed The Judgment Day to continue their attack on Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Finn Balor hit Priest with multiple Coup de Graces while Liv Morgan forced Mami to watch.
It remains to be seen if Jey Uso will be able to defeat Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship next week on RAW.
