4-time champion departs WWE - Reports

There have been reports that a Hall of Famer is no longer with WWE today. The promotion is currently on the road to SummerSlam next month in Cleveland, Ohio.

Earlier this week, it was noted that Beth Phoenix was removed from the roster on WWE's website and moved to the alumni section. PW Insider has provided a massive update on the situation today and is reporting that The Glamazon is no longer with the company.

The veteran captured the Divas Championship once and is a three-time WWE Women's Champion. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017.

Beth Phoenix is married to Edge, now known as Adam Copeland in All Elite Wrestling, in real life. She teamed up with her husband to defeat The Judgment Day's Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber 2023 in her final match with the promotion.

Popular WWE star wanted Beth Phoenix to return for another run in the company

WWE veteran Natalya recently disclosed that she was hoping to see Beth Phoenix return to the ring in the promotion.

Natalya's contract with the company was rumored to expire this summer but she reportedly has inked a new deal with the promotion. The former champion has not competed in a match on RAW since her loss to Kiana James on June 3.

Speaking with Ring The Belle, the 42-year-old said she loved Beth Phoenix dearly and wanted her to return. She also gave a shout-out to Mickie James, Gail Kim, and several other legends for paving the way for the women's revolution in wrestling.

"I also think, of course, I'm very biased, but I love her dearly. I think Beth Phoenix could come back and do a full run. Of course, I'm challenging Gail Kim to our singles match. Mickie James, Melina, Gail Kim, Michelle McCool, Layla. I love Alicia Fox, would love to see her do more. There's just so many women that really, It's like we were ready for the revolution before it was ready for us," said Natalya. [H/T: Fightful]

Rhea Ripley has also stated in the past that she wanted the chance to battle Beth Phoenix in a singles match. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for Phoenix and if she decides to return to the ring elsewhere.
