4-time WWE champion on life before being discovered by Triple H and WWE: "I was doing things at an unparalleled level to anyone else"

Triple H and WWE have pulled many big names to the company over the years. A four-time champion recently opened up about his journey to WWE and how Triple H played a role in his hiring.

Bron Breakker had a successful run on the NXT brand where he won three titles. He transitioned into a main roster superstar pretty quickly and wasted little time in winning the Intercontinental Championship.

While Breakker didn’t have a remarkable run with the Intercontinental Championship, he did make a mark with his in-ring work. Speaking to 99.5 WKDQ, he opened up about his brief stint with the Baltimore Ravens and how it helped him prepare for the wrestling world.

"Since I can remember, since I was a kid, this is all I ever wanted to do," Breakker said. "I was a big football guy. Loved it. But football was sort of the [vehicle] to help me get to WWE, in a sense. I love football very much. I still do. I still watch it every week. But wrestling is my first love."

Bron Breakker has remarkably made a mark in the company without using his father’s name. Triple H built him up in NXT before bringing him to the main roster. He noted that he pushed himself thinking that WWE and Triple H would only notice him if he went all the way.

"I was doing things at an unparalleled level to anyone else, in terms of how consistent my training was," Breakker said. "I used to do just crazy things in my training. Anytime I got close to quitting or feeling sorry for myself, I'd be like, 'If Triple H or WWE was watching right now, could you push through this rep?' And I always would." [H/T - Wrestling Inc.]

Jey Uso took the Intercontinental Championship off Breakker on the September 23 edition of RAW. Fans saw the aggressive superstar change gears a week later as he came out to congratulate Uso and shook his hand.

Triple H could allow Bron Breakker to pull off a double turn on WWE RAW

Bron Breakker seemingly turned babyface on WWE RAW when he came out to congratulate Jey Uso. It looks like the two men are on good terms now and fans could see them work together down the line.

Uso could come across a threat from a tag team, and Breakker could help him out - evening the odds in the process. The two could even work together for a few weeks before Triple H pulls the trigger and turns Breakker heel again.

A heel turn would allow him to get back in the Intercontinental Championship scene and he could win the title from Jey Uso for another run with the gold. The creative team may have put the title on Jey Uso for a short while, and he could move into the world title picture soon.
