4-time WWE champion to receive the "Brock Lesnar treatment," believes ex-writer, after major title loss

During his early WWE career, Brock Lesnar gained notoriety as a rising star, often referred to as 'The Next Big Thing.' In light of his recent absence from television, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. suggested that a four-time champion could potentially be promoted similarly.

The Beast Incarnate's last in-ring match was against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. He lost the bout, putting over The American Nightmare. Lesnar was reportedly scheduled to make a comeback at Royal Rumble 2024 and also had plans to compete at WrestleMania XL. However, all plans fell through due to Brock Lesnar's apparent involvement in the lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon by former WWE employee Janel Grant.

Meanwhile, on a recent episode of his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, the former writer speculated that Bron Breakker might have lost his Intercontinental Championship to Jey Uso on RAW last week because the company has big plans in store for him.

Freddie Prinze Jr. noted that the former two-time NXT Champion, one-time NXT Tag Team Champion, and one-time IC Champion could be on a trajectory similar to Brock Lesnar's, receiving a rapid push to stardom.

"He [Breakker] is their guy, so either he got into some trouble and that's why they [WWE] took the championship off, in which I don't believe is the case at all. They have a bigger story plan for him and it's coming quickly. I think they're going to give him some form of the Brock Lesnar treatment, as far as like a rocket ship strapped to him, and looking awesome, and bada**, and dominant, having guys give him great matches," Prinze said. Wrestling legend questions Brock Lesnar's potential WWE return

WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently offered his thoughts on the possibility of The Beast Incarnate returning to the ring. On an episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, the veteran raised doubts about Brock Lesnar's potential WWE return.

He argued that the former Universal Champion's immense wealth and passion for farming might not make him want to return to the ring. Eric Bischoff pointed out that Lesnar has already achieved everything he could in wrestling and might find more fulfillment in his current life.

"No way to know man. Brock's unique. Brock's got enough money he could live the next three lives ... His kids will never be able to spend the money that Brock has made, and beyond the money, Brock has farming. That's his joy, that's his passion, that's where Brock is at peace based on what I've heard," Bischoff said.

Only time will tell whether Brock Lesnar will return to the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut or if he is content with his current career.
