4-time WWE World Champion fires shots at Drew McIntyre after brutal attack on CM Punk

WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre reminded CM Punk that he wasn’t done with him on last week’s Monday Night RAW. The Scottish Psychopath ambushed and demolished The Straight Edge Superstar right after the latter said he had left McIntyre in the rearview mirror.

Following the attack, while fans were trying to predict what would be next for him, a four-time WWE World Champion fired some shots at McIntyre. The man in question is none other than Sheamus.

The Celtic Warrior is currently in a very messy feud with Pete Dunne. The latter cost Sheamus a chance to challenge Bron Breakker for his Intercontinental Championship by making him crash out of the Number One Contender’s Tournament.

Uploading a teaser for the September 9 episode of RAW, WWE added a tweet on X/Twitter showcasing Drew McIntyre with Punk’s fan-made bracelet. The tweet asked fans what they think The Scottish Warrior will have to say on the show following his ambush on Punk. Responding to this, Sheamus made a hilarious comment.

“He’s a swiftie?” wrote Sheamus.

Notably, fans of pop music megastar Taylor Swift call themselves Swifties. While this was an unprovoked comment, The Celtic Warrior did post a ‘Banger’ of a response with his tweet. However, he would just be inviting another wrestler to feud with him while already being pestered by several others who want a piece of him.

While Drew McIntyre may or may not be a Swiftie, fans will soon be able to see his first Hollywood movie. Moreover, The Scotsman has worked alongside a former six-time WWE World Champion in the film who also helped him get his part in the movie.

Drew McIntyre reveals how Batista saw him as the perfect fit for a movie role

The Killer’s Game starring Drew McIntyre and Batista will be released on September 13, 2024. Notably, The Animal was already a part of the film and he later helped The Scottish Psychopath get a role in it as well.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on his Insight podcast, McIntyre revealed how Batista saw him as the perfect fit for the role as described by director J. J. Perry.

“J. J. Perry had said, ‘I've got this idea for this Scottish brothers, the Mackenzie brothers. I have one of them. The other one, I just want to be, you know, the big, imposing guy that can feasibly and realistically beat you up. I just want them to have these thick Scottish accents and be just wild, kind of drinking party badasses that are somewhat unintelligible because of their thick accents.’ And Dave (Batista) basically said, I actually know that guy, he exists.’ He called me,” said McIntyre. With a movie on the way, McIntyre has taken control of his feud with CM Punk once again. Moreover, he also recently revealed that he is currently doing the best work of his career. It would be interesting to see what The Scottish Psychopath has to say on RAW, and if Sheamus’ hunch about McIntyre’s music tastes was right.
