40-year-old WWE star wants to make history with the new World Heavyweight Championship
The new World Heavyweight Championship has been the talk of the town amongst the WWE Universe for over a few weeks. A new champion will be crowned from either RAW or SmackDown at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. Recently, The Judgment Day's Damian Priest said he wants to make history with the title.
During Backlash's press conference, Triple H announced that a new tournament would take place to determine the new World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions. The tournament also included stars from WWE SmackDown, who will qualify similarly to superstars from Monday Night RAW.
The Judgment Day's Damian Priest impressed fans around the world with his recent performance in Puerto Rico against Bad Bunny in a San Juan Street Fight. Speaking to Steve Fall, the former United States Champion aims to make history by becoming the first-ever Puerto Rican World Heavyweight Champion. Check it out:
"It's a beautiful title, right? It would look even more amazing around my waist. First Puerto Rican World Heavyweight Championship, sounds good to me."
Priest would be writing his name in WWE's history book if he goes on to win the new World Heavyweight Championship. The Archer of Infamy is in the tournament from the Red brand's side.
Damian Priest says The Judgment Day is ready to take on popular WWE stable
The Bloodline was once one of the most dominant stables in the company's history. After the events of WWE Backlash 2023, it has become evident that the group has cracks, and there are no signs of recovering from it, where Solo Sikoa almost ended up taking out Jey Uso during their six-man tag team match.
Meanwhile, The Judgment Day is busy dominating the red brand as all four competitors have stayed united for months. Speaking to Steve Fall, the former United Champion said that The Judgment Day is ready to take on The Bloodline. Check it out:
"Absolutely, I mean The Judgment Day runs Monday Night RAW. The Bloodline, I'll give them their due, they've run SmackDown. Put us together and that's dynamic, this is magic... I've been wanting this for a long time and I'm not shy about it but where Roman [Reigns] at?" said Priest. [1:22 - 1:42]
It will be interesting to see what happens within The Bloodline on the Blue brand.
