42-year-old star to cost Damian Priest at Money in the Bank against Seth Rollins, says WWE veteran (Exclusive)

Damian Priest will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at WWE Money in the Bank 2024. While The Archer of Infamy has the numbers advantage due to The Judgment Day, Vince Russo believes that one of Priest's stablemates will end up costing him the title.

WWE has been teasing a rift between Damian Priest and Finn Balor over the last few weeks. The 42-year-old is speculated to be secretly working with Liv Morgan, who helped him win the World Tag Team Championship last week.

With Priest set to face Seth Rollins for the title at Money in the Bank, Vince Russo feels that the match will end with Finn Balor accidentally helping The Visionary. The former WWE writer said the following on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW about the match's potential finish:

"They are going to the old Finn goes to help Priest and it backfires and Rollins goes over. To me, that’s the simplest wrestling bubbly thing that they are going to do. You know what I am saying? How can they think that anybody cares about Finn Balor and Damian Priest? Finn Balor has zero heat. No heat whatsoever. We’re gonna find out that Finn Balor was behind the Liv Morgan thing and that’s gonna give Finn Balor heat? Really?" [From 37:43 onwards]

Seth Rollins recently made his return after being out of action since April. Damian Priest, meanwhile, won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, where he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre.
