42-year-old WWE star puts CM Punk in a chokehold backstage on RAW; sends a message
A popular 42-year-old WWE Superstar recently took to social media to send a message after they jokingly put CM Punk in a chokehold backstage on RAW. The star being referred to is none other than the red brand's Natalya.
CM Punk and Natalya are two of the greatest names ever stepping inside the squared circle. Both stars have performed at the highest level for decades and are still going strong in World Wrestling Entertainment. However, their run in 2024 was extremely different from one another.
While Punk was involved in one of the biggest feuds of the year with Drew McIntyre, the Queen of Harts did not get many opportunities to shine on TV. However, she recently said that her run in 2025 would be different and promised to be the hardest-working person on the roster.
Following the latest edition of WWE RAW, Natalya took to X/Twitter to share a backstage photo with CM Punk. In the pic, The Queen of Harts jokingly put The Best in the World in a chokehold. In her post's caption, Nattie also sent a three-word message:
"Shenanigans in Boston… [CM Punk]," she wrote.
CM Punk is set to face a major WWE name in early 2025
After giving fans one of the best storylines alongside Drew McIntyre, CM Punk has set his eyes on his next victim. After weeks of teasing a feud with Seth Rollins, The Best in the World finally called The Visionary out to a match on the latest edition of WWE RAW.
After a war of words, the two arch-rivals got into a brawl. However, they were soon separated by Adam Pearce. Later in the show, the RAW General Manager announced that Punk and Rollins would finally face each other in a match on WWE RAW's Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.
Many fans believe The Visionary might turn heel in this feud, and the two could go on to main event WrestleMania 41. It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins on January 6, 2025.
