Sheamus talks about Triple H taking him under his wing

Back in 2020, Sheamus appeared on an episode of After The Bell and opened up about receiving guidance from The Game when he was a rookie. Check out his comments below:

"There’s a lot of people, from day one I was etched in with a black mark about you know, who I am. So when I first started, Triple H was there and he took me under his wing. And he was just like, ‘Listen.’ We went to a tour in Australia. And I didn’t know anybody because I was on SmackDown, but got switched to a tour of Raw of Australia in 2009. And he said, ‘Listen, you don’t know anybody. So if you want to go to the gym and work out, you know what I mean? And I’ll watch your matches and give you any feedback.’ And I was blown away." Sheamus defeated John Cena to become the WWE Champion shortly after moving to RAW in late 2009. He is one of the most decorated stars in the history of WWE and a sure-fire future Hall of Famer.
