47-year-old WWE legend to win record-breaking championship at WrestleMania, Jonathan Coachman predicts
WrestleMania is the pinnacle of WWE, a stage where superstars can achieve their lifelong dreams and create unforgettable moments. Wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman recently predicted that John Cena would finally become a 17-time World Champion at the Showcase of the Immortals before his retirement.
The 47-year-old began his career two decades ago, and fans have watched his transformation from the Doctor of Thuganomics to the Greatest of All Time. Cena has captured 16 world championships, a record he shares with WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
The Franchise Player is set to retire from wrestling after completing his Farewell Tour, which will run from January to December 2025. That being said, the wrestling world has been speculating whether or not John Cena would have one more title run before hanging up his boots.
During a recent appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Jonathan Coachman predicted that Cena would win his 17th world title at WrestleMania 41. The veteran believed fans loved Ric Flair despite his age and actions, but WWE might not want him to be the top name forever.
"I think he [John Cena] wins at WrestleMania. Because I think, and this may be controversial to say as well, but the way Ric Flair has moved the last couple of years, people love him. I have a great affection for him. He has every so often, 'I’m going to retire. I’m going to retire. I’m going to retire.' He’s now, what, nearly 80 years old, and he’s still out there, you know, Hawking w**d and doing all these things. And I just don’t know if, at the end of the day, and this is very petty, if they do this. But I don’t know if the powers that be at WWE want Ric to be that name that’s always at the top of the mountain," Coachman said. (H/T - CVV)

Jonathan Coachman believes top WWE star could be John Cena's last opponent
During the same interaction with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, The Coach shared his opinion on who could be a suitable final opponent for the 16-time World Champion.
The former WWE RAW commentator stated that Randy Orton should be the one to lock horns with John Cena in his last in-ring match. Jonathan Coachman is well aware of the intense rivalry the two men shared during their prime years.
"Well, I think it’s gonna be Randy Orton. I really do. Because when you look at the fact that they’re both basically at the same number of World Championships," he said.
Only time will tell if The Cenation Leader will surpass Ric Flair's legendary record and capture his 17th World Championship and create history at the upcoming WrestleMania.
