5-time WWE champion must NOT join the Wyatt Sicks after return, says veteran (Exclusive)
A former WWE champion may be on the way back to the active scene soon, which has sparked speculation about her next step. Former Head Writer of the company, Vince Russo, believes that she definitely should not be a part of the Wyatt Sicks.
The ex-champion in question is Alexa Bliss, who has been away from action since early last year. Considering her ties to Bray Wyatt and the Fiend character, many expect her to pick up the storyline again with the Wyatt Sicks in play. However, Vince Russo believes there is nothing sensible about her joining this particular faction after her comeback.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo, the veteran stated:
"I hope not bro, because what would you do with her in the Wyatt Sicks. I mean you got Nikki Cross in there, you got a female in there already. What do you do with her in the Wyatt Sicks. (...) We constantly talk about lack of females being over. You know Alexa Bliss was over to some extent, and I think she is far more valuable to the roster as Alexa Bliss. I think if you put her in there, I think you are just gonna really muddy it more than it already is and make it much much more difficult." [7:55 onwards]
Bill Apter believes Alexa Bliss will join the Wyatt Sicks upon returning to WWE
While Vince Russo is against the idea of Alexa becoming a part of the Wyatt Sicks, veteran journalist Bill Apter thinks that's exactly what will happen.
Speaking on The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Apter stated that Alexa's recent posts were a clear indicator of her impending WWE comeback. He said:
"I predict Alexa Bliss is gonna come back and join them (Wyatt Sicks) because she has had workout videos online recently of her training to come back into the ring. So I don't know if she is going to be part of the Wyatts, though it will be more that six of course. Or if she's gonna, just going to competition for one of the Women's Championships." [7:38 onwards]
For now, fans will have to stay tuned to see when the former WWE champion returns to action.
