5-time WWE champion seemingly confirms The New Day's split
A former WWE champion has shared a social media update to seemingly confirm The New Day's split following Monday Night RAW. After several weeks of teasing, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods finally went off on each other last night during the show.
On the November 25 edition of RAW, the multi-time tag team champions lost to Alpha Academy. After the match, Woods and Kingston headed backstage, where they aired their frustrations with each other. Although the two walked away after agreeing to see each other next week, Wade Barrett seemingly confirmed that the duo has parted ways.
Earlier today, the RAW commentator took to his Instagram account to express his happiness over The New Day's 'imminent demise.' The former Intercontinental Champion pointed out he has had several issues with the faction over the years.
"Celebrating the imminent demise of The New Day at #WWERaw. Had a lot of problems with those three over the years. Good riddance." he wrote.

Former WWE Superstar makes bold prediction about The New Day's future
WWE recently announced that The New Day will be honored for completing ten years as a group in the Stamford-based wrestling promotion. The 10th-anniversary celebration will be held next week on Monday Night RAW.
Speaking on Busted Open After Dark, former WWE Hardcore Champion Tommy Dreamer predicted that the fan-favorite alliance might be over after the celebration next week. The veteran wants Big E to return and join his stablemates in the celebration, as he wants to see the three united for one last time before parting ways.
"It's going to be weird next week. It's a hell of a build. It's not just like this great celebration where everyone's happy. I think after next week, it's over. I want to see Big E come back; I want to have my one last picture of them together, and then your parents are getting divorced. Your favorite couple is breaking up, and it's over," Dreamer said.
