50-year-old star reunites with ex-WWE star and Booker T after recent controversy
An experienced veteran reunited with a former WWE star and Booker T. This comes after a recent controversy surrounding him.
MVP's previous WWE run may have been disappointing as he spent most of his time as a manager to Omos. However, this tenure will be remembered for his run as part of the Hurt Business, along with Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley. MVP stayed with the company for several years until his reported controversial contract expiration.
Only Cedric Alexander and Bobby Lashley remain with the Stamford-based promotion, while Shelton Benjamin and MVP are no longer there. MVP recently attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Booker T's Reality of Wrestling Walker Arena. During the event, he also caught up with Shelton Benjamin. The 50-year-old took to social media to post some images from the event.
"I forgot to post these from the other day. A ribbon cutting ceremony at the @bookertfivex owned "Reality of Wrestling" Walker Arena! Congratulations to the King and Queen!!! I love them both and am proud to call them family!" he wrote.

Booker T on the Judgment Day betrayal at WWE SummerSlam
In a shocking turn of events at SummerSlam, Dominik Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley and helped Liv Morgan retain the Women's World Championship. Later in the night, Finn Balor betrayed Damian Priest, costing him the World Heavyweight Championship.
The following night on RAW, Finn Balor announced a new Judgment Day without Priest and Ripley. Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T felt the transition from the old Judgment Day to the new Judgment Day was very well done.
"It may not run as well as the original Judgment Day, but I think we can get something out of this. I think the way they transition Rhea Ripley as well as Damian Priest, I thought it was very very well done. They're not like out in the cold either, even after they just lost his title. He's still relevant, he's still in the picture, so for me, I like the old Judgment Day as well as the new Judgment Day. I like the old Bloodline; I like the new Bloodline. I just like the action that's going on," Booker said.
It remains to be seen if Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley will form a new faction to fight Judgment Day.
