58-year-old legend comments on returning to WWE to help Roman Reigns against The Bloodline

Roman Reigns has found himself short of allies in his ongoing war against Solo Sikoa and the new-look Bloodline. While The Original Tribal Chief would be hoping for Paul Heyman to return soon, it seems like The Wiseman is in no hurry to make a comeback.

The 58-year-old legend was taken out by The Bloodline a few weeks back after he refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief. While Reigns made his blockbuster return at SummerSlam 2024, Heyman has not been seen on WWE programming since the attack where he was put through an announce table by Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.

Paul Heyman was present at the recent Fanatics Fest NYC event, where he talked about various topics, including his impending WWE return. The Wiseman noted that he would come back when he could add something to Roman Reigns instead of just existing alongside him.

"I will come back when it's relevant for me to come back. When I need to come back, when I can add to Roman Reigns and not just ride coattails and hang off of his glory. [...] I wanna do something that contributes and makes you sit there and say, 'I love Roman Reigns, but my god I love him so much more when he's with The Wiseman Paul Heyman.'"

Fans would be patiently waiting for the 58-year-old legend to return to the Stamford-based promotion soon.

Ex-WWE host Matt Camp believes Roman Reigns deserves a title shot against Cody Rhodes

While Roman Reigns is currently engaged in a heated feud with Solo Sikoa and the new-look Bloodline, he also has his sights set on the Undisputed WWE Championship as he sent a warning to Cody Rhodes after making his return at SummerSlam 2024.

While speaking on his The Wrestling Matt podcast, former WWE host Matt Camp mentioned that The Original Tribal Chief should go after Cody's title soon as the former was the champion for four years which should warrant him another shot at the gold.

"Well, Roman should [get a title shot] certainly. A four-year championship reign, I don't think you have to make any other arguments for why a rematch or another chance at the title is warranted. It obviously is warranted," Matt Camp said.

Cody Rhodes recently gave Kevin Owens a title shot and the duo will compete for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Bash in Berlin 2024. While The Prizefighter was hesitant to accept the challenge at first, he changed his mind after SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis stated that he was thinking about giving Roman Reigns an opportunity to go after The American Nightmare's title.
