59-year-old WWE legend to return soon, feels former writer; predicts WrestleMania dream match against Jake and Logan Paul (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently discussed a huge tag team matchup for WrestleMania 41 featuring Logan Paul and Jake Paul on one team. The latter recently collided with "Iron" Mike Tyson in a high-profile boxing match.

After the match, Tyson asked for a battle with Logan. The Maverick claimed that he would "kill" the heavyweight boxer in a bout. Since then, reports have emerged that WWE is interested in securing Mike's services for WrestleMania 41.

On a recent episode of Writing with Russo, the wrestling veteran fantasy booked a tag team match involving the Paul brothers against Mike Tyson and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He detailed that the 59-year-old would be open to returning if Mike was involved. He explained that the Texas Rattlesnake was an astute businessman, and this was a good deal for him.

Russo felt involving the Paul brothers would add eyeballs to the feud, and Steve would love that opportunity:

"I'll tell you what, Austin would do that. If Tyson was involved, Austin would do that; yes, he would. Bro, think about this. Austin is all about money, Austin is all about PR. Logan Paul and Jake Paul, that would be huge for Austin...He would benefit from that in so many ways. He would jump at the opportunity." [From 4:59 onwards]

Steve Austin and Mike Tyson have a long history in the WWE. In 1998, they were pitted against each other in the build-up to WrestleMania 14.

Tyson was the Special Guest Enforcer for Austin's match against Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship. He made the three count, eventually crowning Stone Cold as the winner of the encounter.

It will be interesting to see if the two legends once again reunite at WrestleMania 41.
