6 ft 242 lb former World Champion will never ever defeat Cody Rhodes, believes WWE Analyst

Cody Rhodes has held the Undisputed WWE Championship since WrestleMania XL. WWE analyst Peter Rosenberg d believes a top superstar has no chance of dethroning The American Nightmare.

The superstar in question is none other than Kevin Owens. A few weeks ago, Rhodes offered his friend a title shot at Bash in Berlin. Last Saturday, the two squared off in the German capital. However, the former Universal Champion failed to end The American Nightmare's reign. Despite looking massively upset after the match, Owens raised his opponent's hand, showing him respect.

While many believe the story between the two superstars is not over, WWE analyst Peter Rosenberg discussed the possibility of Rhodes and Owens going head-to-head again on his Cheap Heat podcast. When asked whether he believes The Prizefighter has any chance of ever defeating The American Nightmare, he gave a negative answer:

"[You talk about the Kevin Owens thing, there is no chance that Kevin Owens ever beats Cody Rhodes?] No," he said. [From 17:31 to 17:37]

Another WWE Analyst thinks Kevin Owens will turn on Cody Rhodes

Unlike many expected, Kevin Owens did not turn on Cody Rhodes at Bash in Berlin. However, WWE Analyst Sam Roberts believes the heel turn will eventually happen.

The 40-year-old claimed on his Notsam Wrestling podcast that The Prizefighter's story with The American Nightmare is far from over, pointing out that it could continue until Survivor Series:

"This story is so far from over. And I've been saying this from the beginning, and I know you've heard me say it, but I love the idea that this is the slow progression of Kevin Owens turning, right? And I feel like because it's being done slowly, it can take us through Bad Blood, maybe into Survivor Series, and just as we're getting towards that end of the year, Cody can get done with Kevin Owens, go, 'Randy, can you believe how maniacal Kevin Owens became?' And then Randy turns on Cody too," he said.

At Bash in Berlin, Michael Cole seemingly confirmed that Solo Sikoa would be Rhodes' upcoming challenger. It would be interesting to see what happens next in the Undisputed Title picture.
