6 ft 8 in star may immediately debut in WWE and replace Jacob Fatu in The Bloodline, says analyst; to delay Roman Reigns feud
After weeks of speculation and rumors, Roman Reigns finally showed up in WWE during the closing moments of SummerSlam 2024. Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts recently discussed a potential feud between The Original Tribal Chief and Jacob Fatu.
The Samoan Werewolf supposedly injured his foot after performing a top-rope splash onto Cody Rhodes through the announce table. Jacob Fatu seemingly confirmed the nature of his injury when he was spotted in a walking boot after SummerSlam. But rumors suggested that the 32-year-old Samoan was selling his injury as planned.
Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts said 6 ft 8 in WWE's rumored signee, Hikuleo, might join the new Bloodline in Jacob Fatu's absence:
"I do wonder because everybody's talking about Hikuleo, who is Haku's third son. You know, Haku's two sons - Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa. Hikuleo is his third son. He's about seven feet tall and has apparently signed a deal with WWE at some point. These are the rumors on the internet. So maybe the idea is that Jacob Fatu goes out with his injury, worked or not, and Hikuleo comes in," Roberts said.
WWE analyst said the aforementioned angle could help delay the inevitable feud between Reigns and Fatu:
"Ultimately, Jacob Fatu vs. Roman Reigns is the match...So maybe the idea is Roman [Reigns] has to go through the Bloodline to get to Solo [Sikoa], and eventually Jacob [Fatu] steps up and is the threat and the way we avoid going to the threat right away is with the injury," he added.
