60-year-old WWE legend backstage on SmackDown; Posts video in character
A WWE legend is backstage on SmackDown tonight, but that isn't all. He's dressed completely in character and even posted a video of himself, confirming his presence.
There was a lot of anticipation about the October 11 episode of SmackDown as it would host the aftermath of the Bad Blood 2024 show where The Rock and Jimmy Uso returned. Big Jim, in particular, received a great reception upon his return to the blue brand after half a year away.
One of the people who was surely watching that segment was 60-year-old WWE legend, The Boogeyman. The former rival of Booker T was backstage on SmackDown, according to PWInsider. He seemed to have confirmed that report himself by posting a video backstage.
He is signed to a WWE Legends contract and has mostly been used for promotional content. However, it's not known as to how much he's utilized nowadays with the company not having an exclusive network to fill with content.
The Boogeyman had only four years on the main roster but has made occasional appearances since then. He's certainly a product of his time and it's hard to imagine a character of that nature thriving in the modern WWE environment.
