7-time SmackDown Women's Champion will win the 2025 Royal Rumble Match, predicts WWE personality Peter RosenbergĀ
WWE personality Peter Rosenberg recently addressed the Women's Royal Rumble 2025. He predicted a 38-year-old superstar would win the 30-woman battle royal for the second time in her career.
Charlotte Flair has had enormous success in the Stamford-based company over the past 12 years. In addition to winning the SmackDown Women's Championship seven times, the RAW Women's Title on six occasions, and the Divas Championship once, The Queen won the Women's Royal Rumble in 2020.
She last appeared on WWE TV in December 2023 when she suffered multiple knee injuries during a match against Asuka on SmackDown. Speaking on his Cheap Heat podcast, Rosenberg predicted that the second-generation superstar would win the Women's Royal Rumble next year. However, he suggested Flair might return before the premium live event and would not be a surprise entrant.
"I guess [it will be Flair]. But Charlotte's gonna be back before that, I bet, so it wouldn't be like a surprise return," he said. [43:01 - 43:08]
When should Charlotte Flair return to WWE?
Charlotte Flair has been absent for a year. While RAW's debut episode on Netflix is expected to feature several top stars, many have suggested that The Queen could return on the massive premiere on the global streaming platform.
On his 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff discussed whether the veteran should return on the premiere of RAW on Netflix or at Royal Rumble. The former RAW General Manager pointed out that although both were interesting options, he would prefer the latter.
"Two great options, right? One option, returning her on Netflix services the client, which is always an important part of your business. The other services the audience because she would get a monster pop [at] Royal Rumble because of the nature of the event. She's gonna be getting a monster pop either way. But, God, what would I do? I'd save it for the Rumble. If I had the option, if I got a vote, I'd vote for the Rumble," he said.
It would be interesting to witness the WWE Universe's reaction to the anticipated return of the 14-time Women's Champion.
