8-time champion confirms WWE RAW return

This week's Monday Night RAW is going to be an eventful one as not one, but two WWE Superstars will be making their first appearance on the weekly show since WrestleMania XL.

While Gunther's return was announced ahead, he is not the only one who is looking for a comeback after a loss at The Grandest Stage of Them All. Becky Lynch failed to capture the Women's World Championship from Rhea Ripley in Philadelphia earlier this month, since then Lynch has not appeared on WWE RAW.

The Man will come around on RAW tonight, which is scheduled to air live from Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. Taking to X, Lynch announced that her "vacation" is over and it is time to claim what is her's on the red brand:

"I’ve beaten many people to become champion but never all at once. Tonight I change that. My "vacation" is over. See you on RAW," wrote Lynch.

After relinquishing the Women's World Title last week on WWE RAW owing to an injury she sustained at the hands of Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley disclosed that she will be out for months.

This prompted Morgan to walk out into the arena and mock Mami, expressing joy for taking her rival out. The Eradicator later assured a strong comeback and put a target on Liv's back.

A new Women's World Champion will be crowned on WWE RAW

The company announced that a new champion will be crowned tonight on RAW, and several of the women on the roster seem ready to grab the ball and run with it, now that Ripley is out of the picture. The stalwart of WWE's women's division held the Women's World Championship for 380 days and remained undefeated. Now there is a chance.

The new Women's World Champion will be determined through a battle royal on RAW. Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, and Becky Lynch are only a few women who were gunning for the belt in the recent past.

While The Man was the last person to face Ripley before the latter was forced to vacate the title, it is Liv Morgan who had deeper issues with Mami that trace all the way back to two years ago, before Rhea joined The Judgment Day.

As for Nia Jax, it was The Irresistible Force who pushed The Eradicator to her limit in Perth, Australia, two months ago at Elimination Chamber: Perth.
