8-time World Champion scheduled to make WWE return for Survivor Series (Exclusive)
CM Punk has not been seen on WWE TV for a while now. The Best in the World defeated Drew McIntyre in a grueling Hell in a Cell Match at the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event and has not stepped foot in the squared circle since then.
The Second City Saint is reportedly set to join the annual holiday tour of non-televised WWE live events. While the anticipation among fans for his return has been at an all-time high, it is still a question if Punk would make his return before the live event tour as well.
According to WrestleVotes on a live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, CM Punk is scheduled to appear during the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event. While it is still uncertain if the Best in the World will just make an appearance or will wrestle during the show, a return at the upcoming event is seemingly set for the eight-time World Champion:
"Last thing I heard was that he is still scheduled for Survivor Series. So, we’ll see." [28:10 onwards]
While Punk's return plans are still uncertain, he clearly has some big matches and feuds lined up in the next few months. One of the biggest feuds that fans have been waiting for is CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins.
The animosity between both men began back at the Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 Premium Live Event, where Punk made his blockbuster return to the Stamford-based company. Only time will tell what WWE has in store for the Second City Saint once he returns.
