8-time WWE Champion returning to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 may happen, says Veteran (Exclusive) 

WWE is on the road to WrestleMania 41, and there are multiple possible opponents for one of the company's biggest stars, Cody Rhodes. While Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are two of the names discussed to face The American Nightmare at The Showcase of the Immortals, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell believes that even The Rock could return sometime before the show to set up a match against Cody.

The Final Boss was involved in a heated feud with Cody Rhodes this year during the WrestleMania season. The eight-time WWE Champion even promised Cody that he would come after him upon his return. However, recent reports have stated that The Brahma Bull may end up missing WrestleMania 41, with Randy Orton or Kevin Owens looking like the possible opponent for the Undisputed WWE Champion.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell noted that The Rock could come just a few weeks before WrestleMania and still fit into a program with Cody Rhodes.

"They can put him in six weeks before WrestleMania and it will still fit. As long as they can fit somebody like the Rock in, with two months to go, they got it. They can get all their advertising out there." [From 34:08 onwards]

The Undisputed WWE Champion is currently on the sidelines after being taken out by Kevin Owens post their Saturday Night's Main Event match. The rivalry between the two seems far from over, and many believe it could stretch to WrestleMania 41.
