80-day title reign to shockingly end at Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, says WWE analyst

Seven new champions were crowned at WrestleMania XL and only two of them have lost their titles already. An 80-day title reign might be coming to an end, according to a WWE analyst. That would be Freddie Prinze Jr.

Drew McIntyre won the World Heavyweight Championship on Night Two of The Show of Shows, but Damian Priest then cashed in his Money in the Bank contract following CM Punk's attack on The Scottish Warrior. Speaking of a title change, Awesome Truth lost the World Tag Team Championship to JD McDonagh and Finn Balor on the latest episode of RAW.

On the latest edition of Wrestling with Freddie podcast, WWE analyst Freddie Prinze Jr. thought that Priest would be the third champion to drop a title won at WrestleMania XL. Prinze has Gunther vs. Seth Rollins penciled in at SummerSlam 2024, so he has The Visionary winning back the World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming Money in the Bank PLE.

"The next story has to be Gunther, because Gunther has the guaranteed title shot at SummerSlam. So that's why I feel like (Damian's) gonna lose it and then it's gonna be Seth and Gunther… They'll give (Priest) another shot in a couple of years or a few months, whatever however it works out. He should be in that discussion. As in the championship circle, right, there's only a small group of guys that are I think, year round in the circle where you could put the belt on him, and I think he's one of them," Freddie Prinze Jr. said.

Seth Rollins made his surprise return from injury last week on RAW. Following The Visionary's return, Damian Priest challenged him to a World Heavyweight Championship match at Money in the Bank 2024, which was accepted by Rollins. The two will face off on July 6, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Stipulations added to World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Money in the Bank 2024

During the latest episode of WWE RAW, Seth Rollins and Damian Priest raised the stakes of their upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. If Rollins loses, he can never challenge for the title again as long as Priest is the champion.

However, if Damian loses, he will no longer be part of The Judgment Day. It was a shocking stipulation, but the champion was confident enough to accept it. Rollins will be the third name to challenge The Punisher for the World Heavyweight Championship after Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre.

The winner of the match will face Gunther at SummerSlam 2024. The Ring General earned the opportunity after winning the 2024 King of the Ring tournament.

It remains to be seen if Triple H has any trick up his sleeve to surprise fans in the upcoming months.
